This morning the fog was really thick. So I wet out to the bridge. Just love to see it this way all mysterious and beautiful. Took some shots but it was hard as the fog was so thick. Hard to believe that it was the end of December and almost 50* out, no coat needed today.
Found some dust on the image and removed it. It does look better. I should be more careful as to what I put up and make sure it is good and done.

Into the fog
This was the first trip to Maine that we took. I was not sure what to expect from it except the smell of seafood (which after the 3rd day was overwhelming), lobster rolls at almost every corner and maybe a carved wooden fisherman in a yellow slicker. We went late in the year which was good and bad. Less people about but the weather was less cooperative, fog almost every morning. We wanted to go out to see whales and other animals on one of those cruises. The boat that we where to go on may not even head out because of the fog. We did go however, needless to say it did not go well. Two of us got very sick and Emily was disappointed as we did not see any whales, but we did see a few animals. Acadia National Park was great to see. the beaches and lighthouses just amazing. I need to go back though it was good trip and next time it will be even better.

A Few of Her Favorite Things
I was a little pressed to do something last night. I just wanted to shoot something so I thought it's the season of holiday joy why not Emily's favorite ornaments. She loves bird ornaments and has even said that whom ever she marries with just have to love them too. Every year we get her a new ornament and most always it will be some sort of feathered bird. I can only imagine what her tree will look like years from now. She has such a gift of style.

So check them out if you can. Well worth the time.
Lake St Clair-1
A partially iced lake near New Baltimore, MI. It was 20 deg. in late afternoon when I took this shoot and the wind off the lake made it feel like 20 below zero.
